Porto Walking Sightseeing Tour

Quick Details

Discover the secrets of Porto on a walking city tour

This guided tour shows you all the secrets of the city. After meeting your guide at Liberty Square, your visit starts with a walk down Aliados Av. towards S. Bento Railway Station, proceeding to visit the city’s historical center, including the cathedral, its cloisters, and its treasure museum, followed by a short walk down the old Jewish Quarter to Ribeira Square.

Your tour proceeds with a private guided visit to the Stock Exchange Palace. Getting back to Ribeira, we take a lunch break, where you get to enjoy a genuine Portuguese meal in one of the typical restaurants. After lunch, enjoy a pleasant 50-minute cruise on the Douro River, followed by a guided visit to a Port wine cellar with a wine tasting and crossing D. Luis Bridge (optional for €12 per person).

Next, you walk up the hill back to Porto city center, through the second Jewish Quarter, stopping at Morro da Vitória viewpoint for a great panoramic over Douro River and the neighbor city of Gaia.

We then visit the Clerics Tower, and if you feel strong enough, you are invited to climb its 194 stair steps to the top to enjoy a 360-degree panoramic over the city, followed by a visit to the emblematic and oldest bookshop in the city – Lello & Irmão. Finally, we return to the meeting point to drop you off.
